Can someone please tell me how to remove the centre vent that serves the windscreen from the middle of the dash? (Passat 1.9tdi 2004 B5.5)
    Haynes manual no help.
    Does it prise out?
I am sure that it is the source of a rattle that is driving me spare. I dont want to trade the car in yet!
    Thanks

It looks as though you need to remove the sunlight sensor first - which in turn looks like it pulls up and out.

I say "looks like" as I've not had to do this myself.

Considering selling my VCDS KEY-USB interface. If you're interested please contact me via PM or email.
