    Hi As Any 1 Got Any Pics Or Info On How To Change A W Reg A4 2.5 Tdi . Timing Belt All Rollers /water Pump /thermostat. Thanks

    It is a big job involving sliding back or removing the entire front end of the car and it requires a lot of specialist tools including a registered version of VAG-COM.
    Anthropogenic climate change, the biggest con inflicted on mankind since religion...

    This is a link to replacing the belt on a B5 (1.8T). Frankly if this doesn't scare you, then I don't know what will.

    Audi main dealer quoted me £550 for belt and tensioner pulley which seemed reasonable, however this didn't include water-pump which should be done at the same time.

    I opted to use an independent garage, whose labour rates aren't too bad. Also replaced all auxilliary drive belts. They also renewed one of the roller bearings which was on it's way out. If one of these collapes - then it's tatties over the side as we say up north!

    Only advice I can offer is go for a fixed price quote and use genuine VAG timing belt kit.
