    ey?

I think i know what you mean....
The tool needs to spin clockwise to return the piston into the calliper. (so that would be Right handed... ?)

how much are halfords charging??? you can get them from most motor spares shops for around £15 - £20, with adaptor number 1 / 2 (reversable) for the rear callipers.

If you need any more help, give us a shout

im getting mine done for 110 quid, new discs and calipers in jan for the rears, he said 60 quid for pads and discs. 50 for fitting, considering i'd be paying 20 quid for caliper tool, i'd pay 80 quid if i did them myself or an extra 30 to pay someone to get their hands dirty, i work with spanners all day long, dont want to do it at the weekends anymore.

I reckon i can changed the rear brake pads in 20 mins per side. easy with the tool. take wheel off, un do calliper with bolts, (either Hex Key or socket.) take old pads out. wind back. new pads in, bolt up calliper, wheel back on.

Incase anyones interested the said rewind tool below from Halfords does fit the modern seat caliper. However the bloke in Halfords insisted it would not fit and that the tool was only for older cars.
