    Hi to all of you,

This is my first post so firstly i will say hello. It looks a great site.

I have just had my A4 Avant 115TDi serviced (oil + filter) at a garage in Leicester. However, i was less than happy with the service. They couldn't specify the type of oil they put in it and i am now looking for a new garage for the next major (incl. cambelt) service. Could anyone recommend anyone other then the main dealers?

    Thanks a lot

This place seems good at first glance

In Thurnby - I used to live near Leicester, but moved to Devon before I became a car owner, so have no idea from general knowledge.
Jason - Rather mad Skoda Fabia driver.... Odd whiff of diesel coming from him.

No - It's a system developed by a company called Ross Tech in the states - basically means you can use one of their OBD2 cables and a laptop, and read faults and tweak things with your car. It's a good bit of kit and I always carry around my old piece of crap laptop with me in the car, as it's one useful job (vagcom) it does well. Even runs Windows XP which surprised me for a P333.

Dealers use their own system - not sure of the name.
