I've read all of the existing posts about resetting the service message on other cars and have tried them on my car with no success. I have a 2006 A6 with MMI. Does anyone know how to reset the service message on a car with MMI????????

I assume that you mean the “next service due” indicator.

When I first had mine serviced it took a few days for the service indicator to reset itself. I think it takes a bit of time to determine your driving style then adjusts it accordingly.

Yes. The next service due message on my car says "SERVICE!". This comes on every 10,000 miles. While the car was under warranty the dealer would reset the message after the oil change. I recently did the 55,000 mile service myself - plugs, air filter, pollen dust filter, oil change and oil filter. I was told by the guy at the dealership that I could reset it myself with the odometer clear button but didn't get any details......ANYONE??????
