I have got a 2001 sport estate and the front passenger door can't be locked using the driver door switch. It closes momentarily and then pops up again. I can manually push the button down. Strangely no problems locking the car with the fob. Any idea what it could be?

I did change the window glass in the door 6months ago, could I have disturbed something then...........don't know if this is a new problem or I have just discovered it now.

    Any help much appreciated

Thanks for the suggestion guess will have to have a go it, but don't you think it's strange that there is no problem when I use the key fob to lock the door, after all it's the same mechanism being used!
