Hey guys, I have recently purchased an Audi A5, and i have downloaded the latest 5150 mmi ugprade discs. But i cant seem to find out what the upgrade does other than give me 3D view.
Also, am i correct in saying i place the disc in the cd player to upgrade?
Also can i just jump to 5150 version, without needing to update to the previous versions first? I ask this, because, the previous versions are bigger files.

You need cd rom 8K0 906 961 AND THEN 8K0 906 961 A.But why bother when the dealer will do it for you foc and also run a sw update check to the vag server.
if you insist on playing read on http://audiforum.us/mmi/6780-new-eu-...rs-5150-a.html

not trying to steal this tread but i have a few questions on my new 2018 Q5. i ordered it without Nav as a base model car. and the MMI is on version MST2_EU_AU_P9118D, MU software 0840. i seem to be missing a lot of items in my MMI and car that are supposedly included per the manual in the glovebox.

there is no APPLE CARPLAY and that is why I deleted NAV as i wanted to use WAZE via the iPhone.
the cruise control works as a speed limiter but not as a cruise. you can only set a speed above which the car will not go using the gas pedal. useless to me
the rear view mirror on the passenger side does not drop down to see the curb in reverse as my 2008 A4 does or my last 2013 Q5 did. i try to set it using the audi procedure i found on line but no luck.
using Audi connect via a cable to the iPhone i cannot access playlists and sometimes if i used bluetooth then switch t cable the phone says stuck on one song and neither the phone or the volume joystick in car can change it.

are these things available on the hidden menu or do i have some reduced version MMI software>

    thanks

    Richard
