    If your car is in finance, how do you pay for it? Hire purchase or balloon purchase.

    Looking for opinions

    You can do monthly payments untill you buy the car outright, but the monthly amount is higher and the car is yours at the end of the set period (hp)

    or

    lower monthly payments and at the end of the term you can buy it by paying the balloon payment, give the car back with nothing to pay or use the car as a deposit against another car. (pcp)

    I've always done the later of the two options as you have more possiblities at the end of the contract.
