Hi All

Just joined the forum after stumbling across it today! Looks to be a great source of info. I have already benefited from the advice given to others (how to change the rear brake bulb on my A4).

I have just purchased my first Audi, and first diesel car, from my neighbour (or more accurately, his company). Its an A4 52 plate 1.9TDI. Its done 145,000 miles which put me off at first but after reading up about this engine, it seems its only just been run-in

Very pleased with it so far and the build quality is just spot on.

these cars can go on to record galactic mileage if properly looked after , certainly a good choice! welcome to the forum

Thanks, Carl. Yes, from what I have read and have been told, the milage shouldn't really be a problem if, as you say, its been well looked after.
