Is there a good time to sell a car, I have been tryin to sell a car now for a while and have no interest at all, its not the most desirable model but I never thought it would be so hard to sell a car I am now giving the car away and still no luck

I don't think its you/the car
In the current climate...not many want a car that drinks fuel, is high on tax etc etc

A 4.2 won't exactly be friendly on the fuel economy or the road tax and with the whole credit crunch issues, i think people are generally just being a bit more careful with their money

I had a choice of two cars... an S6 with 25000 on the clock, or a 2.0 tdi.... both same price...I went for the tdi simply because of the running costs!

At the end of the day, it's a 10 year old motor, and such cars are worth a little over a couple of grand nowadays, even 3 year old VW Phaetons can be had for £7995 retail.
