Anyone had experience changing a Felicia cv joint? Easy enough or too hard (get the garage to do it) job? Expensive?

Depending on your mechanical knowledge its quite a straight forward job,

Remove the split pin from the driveshaft end and slacken the big nut by a turn then loosen the wheel nuts jack up and remove the wheel, remove bottom balljoint bolt and lever out the ball joint from the strut pull out the driveshaft from the wheel bearing (being carefull not to pull it out of the gearbox or you'll get an oily floor) remove cv boot get someone to hold the driveshaft and knock of the joint with a soft faced hammer. rebuild is just reversed.

    Hoppe that helps.
