Headlights

Hi,

I have an A6 Avant that has hardened glue residue on the headlights. This is a results of using those beam adjusters that you have to fit when going abroad.

I have read on this forum that some people have machine polished their headlights but my lense covers appear to be polycarbonate (plastic). Surely these cannot be polished,, I assume you can only polish glass covers.

Have you tried using White spirit or Auto Glym Tar & Glue remover? Either of these should shift the mess with minimal effort.
