Rear Axle Bushes ???

Hi All !
Was having a problem with my 20001 Golf 1.6 16vs (50000mls).
When driving on the road, it seemed that every time I went over a pot hole or ramp, the back end of her was giving out a thud type of noise.
I thought that the rear suspension bushes had gone. I thought, ha ! 2 bushes at a £5 and maybe £30 to fit.
Left the car in this morning to get the work done.
Collected her about half an hour ago and was told that the two rear axle bushes had gone. Seeing that I had told the mechanic to do what ever needed done, he went ahead and replaced them.
I was rather taken aback when he presented with a bill for £115 which breaks down to the following
2 Rear axle bushes £33.60
Labour £64.00

My main question is ; Is the above a good price for both parts and labour ?
PS, I think he used the genuine VW parts.

Any thoughts feedback etc appreciated.

that is really good, as the other chap said it is a lot of work. i payed £190 for my rear anti roll bushes to be changed on my 4motion, you got a good deal,
