as my engine management light has now came on after fitting an atmospheric dump valve i think i am now going to replace it with a re-circ valve,i will loose the noise, but i'd prefer my car to run properly than to have the great noise my dump valve makes. can anyone tell me if the re-circ valve goes in the same place as my atmospheric valve,or am i going to have to replace the hose that my current valve is cut into? i know i will have to put another hose from the valve to the air intake, which would be the part that i had to blank off on the very top back of the engine??????? i hope its a straight swap......i am also interested in suggestions as to how to make the car work properly with the atmospheric valve? i know the re-circ valve i would require would be the forge 007p,forge also do a part re-circ part blow off(atmospheric) valve, does anyone know anything about this one, they say they gaurentee the engine management light to stay off? also what are the advantages of me fitting an actuator?worth doing it?
i hope someone can help me,i am open to all suggestions.
please also give me any other tips on things i could do to my car that are not overly expensive.
