    Hello,

Just recently had new cam and timing belt fitted, however, i now get a squealing noise when i accelerate and hit high revs, also when driving up steep hills, still get this squealing?

Any advice would be much appreciated.

    Cheers

When you got the new timing belt fitted, did you also get a new tensioner fitted?

also could be powersteering belt that needs replacing or the tensioner for that, this would also make a squealing noise when been worked or it maybe under tension and slipping when been worked harder ie up hill steering etc
I dont work here for the pay,or the enjoyment,so why do i work here

I will give the power steering a check, now you mention, the power steering does seem not as smooth as it has been.

    Cheers for your help!!

I would definately say its power steering weather its belt not tensioning right or belt slipping cos worn or,what about fluid is there ps fluid in there ? is it correct stuff? its been mentioned on threads before where they move reservoir to change belts then either top it up too much for the bit they have lost,or put wrong fluid in etc etc etc
