    Default 54 audi a4 sat nav problems – 21-09-2008,03:33 PM
    Hi I have an a4 avant sport 2004, the sat nav does not read the dvd any more, sometimes it works other times it doesnt. Can someone please help as its driving me mad

    Try a lens cleaner.
    The lens can be replaced, navplus is a good site for info.
    A4 2.5 tdi QS (mapped)

    Is the nav disc an original,the units have been known to struggle with a copy.

    Hi yes both disks i have tried are origianal, 1 is 2006 and the other is 2008. The software was updated when i had the audi bluetooth added and my 04 disk would not work so i bought the 2008 which worked fine for about 6 weeks then it started to play up. Hopefully it wont cost the earth to replace otherwise i will revert to the tomtom!!!
