    Under the heater controls there's a piece of fascia you need to remove

    From memory, pull open the coin tray beneath the headlamp switch and it should be behind that.

    Hi,

    I have an Audi A6 2002 2.5tdi se and would also like to know where the connection is and what it is, I am new to diagnostic tools, I do my own spanner work but this is becoming very restictive. can any one advice on the best lead and software to cover all the diagnostics for my car?

    From the link in the first post;

    The other part of your question will get more coverage in the VCDS forum - ask there

    Can you read German? http://en.openobd.org/locations.htm#vw_lt_2d

    Google translated as follows: "The diagnostic connector is located in the footwell next to the pedals, it will need a special adapter. It may not have addressed all the control unit, as the LT a joint project with Mercedes-Benz."

    R/H side of the dash there is a small pull down "glove box" effort. You need to give this a sharp pull downwards to expose the OBD port behind it.

    The OBD port for Skoda Roomsters is below the steering wheel behind the fuse board fascia.
