    Hi

The front passenger speaker (the lower one) is not sounding very good. There is still sound from it but very poor and muffled. Anything with any bass at all sounds nasty.

    It's under Warranty.

    Car info in sig.

    Thanks.

Is it 3 or 5 door.
I have just had the door speakers on my 3 door '05 and there are 3 speekers per door.
mine were sounding similar to yours and I had them replaced and wow what a difference but I did go for aftermarket ones with 6x9 on the parcel shelf

It's a 5 door, 2 speakers per door - with an 300 spec radio (double din, single CD) not a hugely impressive head unit but then is it standard.

All i want to know is if it is covered by warranty? - it is going in to have cruise control fitted on monday.

Oh and they are replacing the filters that they said they had already done - BUT HADN'T and proof of cambelt cahnge other than the stamped book for which i assume has been done but can't obviously tell....

Don't fancy your chances of them being covered.
Did you buy the car from new or have you just bought it.
I think they will argue for them to be broken you have been overdoing it with the stereo

Oh i can almost guarantee that opinion!!!!!!!!! It is an '54 plate and I've had it since Monday.

Every other thing i spotted since i get the answer sold as seen once driven away mate. Unless your wheels fall off we don't' care!

I guess i can ask but looking what's involved to look at it (assuming whole door panel has to come off) i would rather do it my self.

I got my local ice dealer to replace the front and back as listed above and all in was £300 inc suppling the speakers so to get it done should not be that expensive apparently there are a few hidden screws for taking the door panels off.

Having seen the passenger side off when I returned to the specialist while they were finishing the instalation I was glad I left them to it
