    BDT, thanks mate.
    Thing with the mk1 is that, its one of the best in the country...and i don't mean best restored omes...Its got original paint, smells as new inside, absolutely no wear on the interior, even all the trim has never seen any silicone based product. When you shut the doors, they are air tight. Its stunning!

    If it was driven properly, it wouldn't be concours for long and people couldn't appreciate and see how a near as possible mk1 gti looks/smells/drives (the odd time,lol)
