    Hi All,
I am wondering if anyone know of good VW Specialist in the Hertfordshire(Hemel Hempstead, St Albans, Watford) area, that's honest and not going to break the bank.

Thanks for any help you can give.
    Cheers,
    Tony

Hi I've just had a quote from Total VAG in Leighton Buzzard (who I think have only been going for a few months) for fitting front disks and pads, also supply and fit a MAF all done for £289 inc VAT. Plus they will do some investigation for free!! Car goes in on Tuesday, so I don't know what the quality is like

Can you let us know what sort of service you received from Total VAG. Is it a VW specialist you can recommend?

    Cheers,
    Tony

    Tony,

I found them very good. Needed new front Discs & pads and a MAF. Also needed a new engine mount (with sensor) as the VAGCOM picked that up, it explained the clonking noise !!! They also advised that a Caliper needed changing as the pistons did not return all the way.
They had a problem with getting the mount, not sent when promised and then the wrong one sent !( both times not there fault) They kept me informed all the way, not once did I have to chase.
Due to the issue with the mount they offered a free service or to replace the caliper free of charge, which Ithoughwas very generous, as these things happen !
For new front disc's & Pads, MAF, New engine mount, service and free Caliper the bill came to £474.
As I say I found them very impressive. And the guy's I dealt with (Leigh & Greg) are both top guy's. Here's they website - http://www.total-vag.co.uk/news.php
Let me know what you think if you use them.
    Cheers
    Barrie
