    Default Failure of remote locking – 07-07-2008,11:22 AM
    The remote locking on my Mk4 Golf has just stopped working.. with no warning, intermittent operation or any other indication that something was amiss. As its range was 10-15 metres from Day 1 to this morning, I'm tempted not to think weak signal - ie, battery - but rather something else..
    Anyone else experienced this before I reach for the big hammer..?!

    i know if you are away from the car and the buttons keep being pressed it can go out of tune, try reprogramme it to the car

    Geoff,
    Did you manged to sort the problem with the remote locking?
    Mines done the same today, was working fine up until this morning but now nothing at all.
    It's not the batterys as I've tried both remotes.

    Any help would be good
