Just bought a B6, and had test drives in 2 cars, both 2004 and under 30k on the clock. BOTH had a blistered button on the console that looks to be a dummy button. Are these easily removed and is a breakers yard the best place to get a replacement?

    Thanks in advance

    Hey Coolio,

Can you stick a pic up so we can see what you mean?

I would hazard a guess at yes, and yes

if cars with under 30k are blistered, older ones would be worse i would think?

I forgot to take a picture before putting in the garage. It's the dummy one to the left of ESP button. The button is actually white, with black covgering which is a bit ripped.

Audi use a rubber like material to cover these buttons. It scratches VERY easily so I'm not surprised his buttons are worn.

a dealer should be able to sort you out with some new ones. if they are blanks they will probably be quite reasonable.
