    Hi,

After months of changing my mind, I've finally made the decision to go with the new A4 Avant as my next company car. I'm limited to the 2.0TDI SE, which is fine, and I have to pay for any options personally.

However, I've been trying to spec one up on the Audi web site, and every time I do, as soon as I get to the 'Equipment' page, it tells me there is a conflict with my options (after having selected nothing but standard items). It suggests that I must select either the Audi Concert Radio (for £0), or the Symphony radio or SatNav system. If I then select the Concert radio for £0, it then tells me I have to select the Audi Parking System Plus for £650!

Can anybody explain to me what is going on here? I don't actually want to spend any additional money if at all possible, but was hoping for bog standard reverse parking sensors.

    Cheers,
    Ben

Basically the configurator is a pile of rubbish! You can have a standard radio without the parking system plus.

I have not seen an option for just reversing sensors - I believe you can get these as dealer fit as opose to factory fit. The parking system plus is front and rear sensors and a picture showing you distances.

What he said....Configurator is rubbish, odd combinations of kit and lots of errors in your selection.

Trouble is I dont think you will get any more sense from the dealers going by some of the comments on here!

    I thought as much.

Does anybody know if it still possible to get the leather three spoke steering wheel on the SE model, as this seems to have dropped off the configurator for some reason (i'm guessing to push people into going S-line)?

According to the PDF Brochure I downloaded you can

Order Code 1XX Is the 3 Spoke Leather Wheel for SE with Paddle Shift for Automatic £240

Order Code 1XW is the 3 Spoke Leather Wheel for the SE Manual. £100

Both are the Multi Function ones
