01316 Airbag Fault Code

Hi Guys,

Just done a VCDS Scan on the car to see if there were any fault codes that may relate to my cars inability to start on the button each morning but there were none that may affect that, but I did get a couple:
One is an alarm via tilt sensor which i'm not too worried about but the other is to do with the airbag which I am a touch more concerned about.

Any help regarding this would be appreciated. Not sure if it is related but VCDS will only connect to Module 45 intermittently, as you can see by the above scan it didn't this time, but when I went in through the module itself it did connect, then it wouldn't then it did again!! Hope it's not some sort of diagnostic wriring problem!!

see here the ross-tech wiki says 01316 is an ABS problem.

Try clearing it and re-check the comms status with the controller.
