had my SE 1.9 TDI (T - 2000)for a while now, as far as I'm concerned cars are just a set of wheels to get from A to B when its too wet to ride my bikes but now Ive decided to sell it I was just wondering what exactly does the SE stand for / is it the 'cooking' model ? Seems mine has exactly the same interior trim & electrical gizmos as my neighbours Passat which he boasts is 'top of the range'...
whats it worth by the way ? 115,00 m, FSH , new belts..mechanically perfect..

if you're trying to part ex at a dealer, you'll always lose around 5/600 on the price, they have to make a profit somewhere

You'd get more than that for it privately here in Glasgow.

Also are you sure it's a 2000 plate? That'd normally be V or W reg.

Mine is a T plate, first registered in june 1999.
Cost 2k from a local dealer, 65k miles on clock.
Used sales value varies from £1300 - £2200 depending on who is selling it, and condition. As has been said, a greater value would be expected by a private sale.

Yes I meant 1999 T ..Confused it with my 2000 w Peugeot..
I'd only ever sell/buy private & those prices are much nearer what I was hoping to get , its a good clean well serviced example ..Cheers
