why don't my mirrors fold?!

Hi folks,

recently got my '05 allroad and had some light bedtime reading with the handbook!!

everything suggests that my mirrors should fold in by turning the adjuster past the left mirror setting, and that it should also tilt in reverse as long as the left mirror is selected.

neither of these options work so is it broken or was it not and installed option after all??

it's a 2.5 tdi limited edition btw.

have you got your option codes sticker?

there is a copy in the service book, and also (on mine at least) in the spare wheel well.

use this site http://igorweb.org/equidec/Default.aspx and it might shed some light to if you have the power mirrors.

also, are you able to fold them by hand?

I think to have the tilt on reverse you need to have memory seats !
