I have the same problem and am told that my car needs the tracking checked, all four wheels!

I have lost the front two tyres and the rear ones are nearly gone too.

Because mine is a quattro, it needs to be tracked on a special machine which tracks all four wheels.

The tyre depot did mention that it could be because:-

1/. It's a very big and heavy car.

    2/. It's a very powerful car.

    3/. It's four wheel drive

4/. It's been subjected to an over enthusiatic driving technique.
