    I own a t4 2.5 transporter and error code P1245 is coming up, could anyone tell me what this relates to and how to cure the error

    According to the internet the error code is this: DTC P1245 Intake Plenum Switchover Valve

    Not sure what it is though maybe someone else can expand

    Another internet source claims: P1245 Needle Lift Sensor Short To Ground

    I also am unable to help further.

    injector number5, it the one on the right as you look in,has a wire coming off it and it's shorting to ground ie the engine block or something

    so you need to trace the wire and look for holes in the insulation ect. make sure the contact on the injector is clean, no oil or water.

    if you take off the front grill and undo some bolts (1 13mm on each side and 2 10 mm on the intercooler if you have one) you can lift the rad up and out towards you using the handle in the middle this makes it easyer to look around

    tracing electrical problems are a nightmare

    VCDS would say Needle Lift Sensor (G80): Short to Ground, I added some additional information to our WIKI.
