VAG all out of stock and I can't check with the independants unless I have a part number as they don't list it.

    Can anyone help?

    Greg.

1K0-959-126-A and it's a common failure, hence stock on back order (I managed to find one though). Apparantly replaces the original 1J0-959-126 which is strange it's a 1K0 not a 1J0, but it fits and the dealer verified it for mk5 golf so hey! Original had corroded connector as well so make sure you clean and grease it.

Fault that sparked this replacement after investigation was:

    00819 - High Pressure Sensor (G65)
009 - Open or Short to Ground

Hopefully this helps someone searching in the future and may be applicable to other models than the golf v.

    Greg.

After wrestling the hard to reach G65 off of our 2.0 TDI 2003 Touran with the aid of a plumbers basin wrench I'm hoping to make the install a bit easier by using part number 5K0959126 which looks like it has the hex section higher on the body rather than "hidden" on the lower portion. Original part was 1J0959126, typical replacement with the "low" hex seems to be 1K0959126x (x=A/B/D/E). Should the 5K0 one be compatible, and if not area all the 1K0 ones equivalent?

Hmmm. Found a couple of posts to suggest not trying the other part numbers:

Air Conditioner- Pressure Switch G65 Fail - VW Eos Forum : Volkswagen Eos Forums
    A/c High-Pressure Sensor( G65) Part no

Although GSF list their item as compatible with them all...

I went for a GSF part via eBay in the end. They had two types listed, and I went for the slightly more expensive one marked as Hella brand in the item details (just below eBay's list of compatible vehicles). Part 6ZL 351 028-221 on the box. Probably fitted as easily as any would given the space / engine protrusion constraints.
