Need sleep! A troublesome night with the baby last night and I had to get up at 6AM. That comes on the back of another bad night the night before that and a rather busy weekend, I think I drove about 200 miles yesterday.

On the plus side, I saw Radiohead last night and they were great. At least, I thought they were, the bloke in front of me managed to fall asleep on his feet (he may have had some chemical 'assistance') which was fine until he fell backwards like a felled tree. He was, thankfully, unhurt though it was funny, particularly as his mate who was standing next to him managed not to see it at all.

They did a good mix; a couple from The Bends, 4-5 from OK Computer and a good mix of the other albums. The older stuff got the best reception:

Each to his own, of course. But you have my personal permission to shoot me if I ever show the slightest interest in golf....(or fishing, basket weaving, trainspotting, flower arranging too, come to that!!)

You know the thing with German cars and golf clubs in the boot don't you ?

Anyway, just returned from my son taking an introductory flying lesson at Barton Aerodrome. It was funny seeing him take off in an aeroplane... he's sixteen... wait till he gets a car !

EDIT: While waiting for the instructor to arrive, I got collared into replacing the headlight bulb in my sister's new 04 plate Renault Megane CC. She has just bought it, supposedly just MOT'd as well. However, I know a headlight bulb out is an MOT failiure, so I'm not sure what the story is with that.

In addition, the two front tyres are bald, and they're cracking, another MOT failiure. She's paid £8000 for the car, and it's an MOT failiure! I think she will be paying them a visit this week to get some cash back...
