board comp warning fog light

hi,
sometimes when i swith egnition on on my a4 b6 2.0, 2001 board computer is telling me that left fog light not working. when i switch on lights with fog lights board shut down warrning (left and right fog light is ok).
anyone knows where is the problem. vag com don't tell anything.

Most likely a poor connection somewhere, probably at the fog light connector where the bulb is connected.

I used to get the left hand fog bulb warning, it was for the rear foglight.
There is no lefthand rear fog fitted, i cleaned all bulb connections in both rear lamps and the warning has never returned.

Hello there. Ive sorted this fault few times already. It starts from a simple bomb fail and goes to wiring, fuse, corrosion, contact problem and etc.
But what Ive found is that sometimes the actual bulb holder negative contact fails and brakes.
