I got my new Avant in Feb of this year and have clocked up nearly 12,000 miles.
Looking at my front tyres this morning, I noticed that they almost at the wear indicator!
What sort of mileage are you guys getting on your tyres? 12,000 seems a bit low!
Before you ask, I'm no boy racer!

I got 15500 miles out of my front 18" Continentals, which I wasn't that pleased with either. But it seems as though front tyres don't last that long. I was experiencing quite a lot of tramlining towards the end of their life which also seems quite common.
Anyway I decided to replace them with Michelins to see if they last any longer.

I've noticed the tram-lining also! Might try and get a few more hundred miles out of this set - Cheers

Means the car has a tendancy to follow ruts and grooves in the road rather than follow your steering inputs.

My S-line has covered 20k on the original Michein pilot sports, still got about 3mm left so I'm pretty happy with that.
