Hello can anyone shed some light please...

Mk 3 Golf 1995 TD estate.

Starting the car after a 6 week period of being stationary I noticed the oil pressure and water temp warning lamps are permanently on. In adititon the mileometer and clock displays have gone out also the speedo is not working.

I have checked the oil and water senders and they are both fine. If I disconect the leads the warning lamps stay on.

Engine bay has not been presure washed, car is parked outside.

Before problem did some work reparing rear wipe loom where it flexes between body and tail gate. Removed and replaced relays when looking for rear wipr fault.

    All were fine before hand.

    Any ideas chaps?

possibly where it hasnt been started the internals of the ecu and/or fuse box are damp. try running the car for ages, or given it a blast on the motorway to see if the heat from the engine dries it out.
otherwise try the option suggested above regarding fuses

    hope this helps
