    Hi All,

I have a 2002 a4 tdi 130bhp. On my dual climate control panel the passengers temperature never changes despite altering the climate control panel temperature which does work by the way. The passenger side is always blowing at the same temperature, drivers side is however is working fine. Anyone have any ideas. Did speak with a mechanic who said the whole dash will have to come out. Is this true? Already not liking the sound of the bill!

    Hi there,

If you change the passenger side then it will work independantly of the drivers side. To re-sync them to each other hold down the Auto button on the drivers side and the passengers sdie will change to it and will continue to change until the passenger changes the temperature.
Works the other way round too!!

Hi thanks for your reply but i think you misunderstood what is i was mentioning. I dont have an issue with the climate control panel temperature display just that the temperature (actual temperature) of the passenger side is always cold even if the climate control panel says HI temp.

    Oh!! My bad!

Hmm.... that doesn't sound right, could be the temperature sensor is damaged/faulty. Not sure if Vag-Com would pick that up but would be worth trying to get a scan done. Not sure off hand where they are mounted but think they are behind a vented panel either at the controls or in the roof lining. Think the controls are more likely, will try and have a look tonight if no-one else throws up some info.

Where abouts are you located? Might be someone near by with Vag-Com that can have a look for you!!
