17965 Tubro Pressure Control Limit Exceeded - P1557 Error on my car

Hi

I've got a 1.9TDI VW Golf and have a problem,
todays ago i was on tht motor doing 85 and out of the blue i lost power and now i cant get over the 70 mark. if i run the car off and start is back up a min later everything works fine until i hit the 70 mark again.

i got the diagnostic done on my car, this is what the fault code said
17965 Tubro Pressure Control Limit Exceeded - P1557

please can someone tell me what i need to do to fix this problem,

Thank you for that information, where do i find the Solenoid Valve for Boost Pressure Control (N75) defective? as i dont know what it looks like,

has anyone else had this problem?

Im pretty sure thats the code it throws when the vanes are stuck in the turbo (VNT).

Location of the solenoid valve and associated hoses etc.
Some slight differences with various engine codes but the basic locations are the same in most cases.

17965, 99% of the time is jammed vanes.Try finding someone who keeps the Innotec decoke kit in stock.

Hi, thank you for your help,
i spoke to VW - TPS in Coventry and i got told that its a problem with the N75 or the Turbocharger (TC) Wastegate Regulating Valve,

ive just order the replacement parts from the main dealer. ill let everyone know what happens,

The TDI N75 rarely fails but it does happen and the TDI doesn’t have a recirculation valve, that is used on the petrol engine. What is the engine code or horsepower?
