I have a problem with a lot of white powdery and glittery dust on the front dash. Dealer has replaced evaporator but still have dust. it is not nice to breathe in - so air con is now turned off. Dealer says no problem - it is only dust and has offered to buy car back. Anyone have same problem??

Make sure no one has removed the fresh air filter and that the filter is not torn, etc. It's located below the windscreen in a plastic housing.

    Hey there,

How long have you had the car??
Sounds very bizarre that the dealer would say there is nothing wrong but would offer to buy it back!! I take it you have tried hoovering the vents to make sure tehre is nothing sitting in there that is being blown about over time?

    Cheers

I had this problem on my BMW. It was related to the MicroFilter that keeps all the pollen and dust out of the cabin breaking up internally and then blowing it into the cabin when the air con was on. Looks really bad on the black seats and dash.

Different car I know but I assume Air Con must work the same within the car. Get audi to check it out for you.
