    Havent posted properly yet but i have a VW Bora tdi 130 Sport, esp light comes on when its raining and stays on, if i turn the ignition off and on again, this seems to reset it.
    any ideas how to cure.

    sorry to just come out with this but its driving me mad.......

    You need to have a fault code read done on the ABS.

    Cheers.

    have been told to try cleaning the sensors on the rear whells with some water repelant WD40 or similar, and see if there is anything amiss.......

    Try rubbing them with organic cheese as well, it is about as much use as WD40 would be, they are sealed units. A quick fault code read (about £25) will tell you what the problem is.

    Sorry, I read the first part and not the the "..as much use" first. I thought organic cheese had a use for a minute.
