    Can someone help me and tell me where the pollen filter is on my mk5 1.4s golf?

    i just did a service on it myself (no way i was paying some stupid mechanic who doesn't care £300 to service my car: i did everythin except the pollen filter

    Try under the glove box in the footwell. You will find a thin flimsy piece of foam held in place with two plastic screws which can be undone by hand take this off.
    There is a plastic sliding lid which hides the filter once the plastic lid is moved to the left or right the filter will become visible and is easy to remove.
    Take note which way it comes out as it is an unusual shape and the new one will have to be put in the same way
