    good guide, i ahve the same unit just need to fit it. BUT, i dont know how to remove the car head unit? Could anyone clarify? TIA.

    You'll need a set of stereo removal keys. If a concert (single DIN CD) you'll need 2 keys if it is a double din (RNS-E) or symphony it is easier with 4.
    You can buy these online or from your friendly local car accessory shop. Slide into the slots on the head unit fascia and release the locks - takes a bit of practice but once you've got the hang of it they work well.
    Current : B6 (54) 1.9tdi Quattro Sport Avant (250k and counting), 8L (02) A3 1.9tdi Quattro Sport (5dr) (130k and counting) VW Touran 2016 2.0tdi Family SE (don't ask!)
