    Does anyone know what the resistance value is at freezing point is please?I would like value of the green and blue ones.PS I need ecu sensor resistance.

    what proble u having ? my 1.8t was playing daft because of the temp sensor it would'nt start and just cranked over since i changed it its been fine

    The problem I have is that the ecu is reading the wrong temp according to live data on a Haynes reader.

    Just replace it as its only 14 pounds includding VAT at Euro Car parts and it takes 5 min to fit ! You could also clean the conector/pins well as they might be corodded and sending duff info to the ECU.

    mine was £21 from vw and i got discount but there are 2 diffrent types
