Can anyone out there recommend good non Audi rear shocks at a reasonable price. I have gone through 2 sets of VAG in less than 30k miles each.
    Any info greatfully received.

    Hi..

A set per 30k.... something sounds at fault there....

Do you tow, carry heavy loads, fast cobble's driving, ??

i am on the original set and every time i leave my house i have to drive down rough cobbles for around 400 meters which i do at about 30mph...

Im on the original "sport" ones and so far done 138k miles with them..

    Rick

    Hi,
I do about 400 miles per week over a mixture of country lanes and A roads.
No tow bar, so no towing. It a saloon, so no heavy loads. Most of the time I drive alone.
The trouble is the with worn shocks, I go through rear tyres equally as quick.

I like the car so I dont really want to get rid of it, but at some point it become uneconomic.
