My A4 coming soon

Hi All

Just traded in my bmw E46 for this A4 2.0TDi S-line in Phantom black 07 plate with 12K miles on the clock.






As you can see it has the phone cradle fitted to the dash & the DVd Sat Nav would like to know the follwing please.

1) How can I find out what phones are fully compatable with the bluetooth system? I currently have a Nokia 6230i but would li8ke to change phones soon.

2) What cradles are compatable with this?

3) does the sat nav screen show text messages? & display whos calling? address book etc?

4) On the sales blurb it mentions the car can play MP3? Is there an ipod connection?

5) Does the DVD sat nav have TMC? & which is the latest dvd map/firmware?

6) Is it possible to move that phone thingy off the dash & place in the arm rest or are these screwed which when removed leave holes?

Any help or advice appreciated?

Hi I bought an identical car two weeks ago and it has exactly the same spec, similar mileage but is in Dolphin Gray. Anyway most bluetooth phones are compatible, I have a nokia 5200 and it worked strAight away once it was easily paired. The sat nav does have TMC and you can view the phonebook and caller display on the sat nav screen as well as the DIS display between the speedo and reve counter. But it doesn't show text messages.
I'm really chuffed with my car, I got it from Liverpool Audi, it seems that ther'es a batch of these under 1 year old used A4 SLINE DIESEL MULTITRONICS WITH TOP SPEC DOING THE ROUNDS AT VARIOUS DEALERS.

That looks like a really nice car! Quite similar to mine on the inside, and I have the phantom black S Line package. The 2.0 is a really good engine, is it a 170? Very good car, definatly the right choice. Enjoy!!!
