    This is what the AA told me

    Hi Mate,

    The more money u can get for ur car the better mate .
    The Glass's Guide Valuation is what is used by the trade amigo so if u part exchange ur car at a dealer namely a VW one the price quoted would be more than likely what they would give u not the AA validation.
    Depressing i know but interesting what dealerships buy and sell the cars for

    Im not even looking to sell it but one of my friends told me to get an A3, but they are a bit more expensive compared to the Golf's. On top of that whenever I buy a car, a cheaper and better one comes along a few weeks/months down the line.. my crappy luck!

    Yeah its damn right depressing that they buy for 4grand they sell on for around 6grand just by slapping a VW APPROVED sticker on it

    The unfairness

    and also the biggest rip off is this ECU stuff, they charge us £70 JUST TO TELL US what the hell is wrong with our cars, thats daylight robbery I tell you that ourrr kid! lol
