Does anybody in the Manchester area have VAG-COM and leads to fit my 80 TDI.

I'm trying to diagnose a throttle position sensor problem and have been told that a diagnostic will pick it up.
What happened to good old mechanics!!!! LOL.

So if anyone can help me out, reply here and I'll get you drunk or you can have my 1st born if you don't drink.

    Thanks,

    Marc.

    I'll buy a off lead off e-bay.
Would you do it then Malc?
PS, do you know anything about recalibrating the throttle switch to the pump in VAG-COM?
Its just that pcar mentioned that it could be done in another post.

    Cheers.

I don't even know which lead it needs, whether its an OBDII or one of the old 4 pin things?????
About the calibrating, theres some instructions somewhere, if it looks really complicated I think I'll be giving it a miss and just going for the diagnostics.
Thanks again mate, I'll see what I can get done from my end.
