Hi I'm new to this forum, I wish I'd found this site ages ago as I've spent a fortune being given usless info and large bills by Garages!!

I posted a problem re my sons Golf MK3 1994 failing MOT on emissions. I had a reply, which I am very gratefull for, and it was suggested that I use something called Ecotek to get it through its Mot.
My question is, would anyone else reccomend this?

Any help would be gratefully appreciated.

Firstly, welcome aboard.
Secondly, what is ecotec (thought it was some crappy Vauxhall engine????)
If I MOT a car and it fails its emissions, I usually give it a service, although if it fails badly, its normally worth changing the lambda sensor.

Its supposed to reduce emissions.

Priceless information. I think I'm gonna stick one of those on my race car (XR2). Takes 2 seconds off the 40-60mph time!!!!!!
