I put a fresh set of bulbs in a couple of weeks ago. For some reason my right headlight beam has gone off and now points up (see picture). What has caused this and what can I do about it? Any suggestions are greatfully welcomed.

Try taking the headlight unit back out again and check bulbs are seated correct and make sure when refitting headlight unit its seated in its correct position, I'm guessing one of the lower fastenings is not engaged in the right place which would cause your headlight to point up maybe.

I have done that and checked everything, the bulbs are clipped in correctly and the headlamp itself is sat correctly too. My mate said something about the beam adjustment inside the projector.. Do you know if there is one inside the projector itself that can't be controlled from in the car?

i know you have checked... but its got to be that the bulb is not in correctly or the headlight is sat perfect..

just to confirm, the bulbs only go in one way.. you are able to clip them in even if the bulb is upside down, if the bulb is upside down the beam will point up as on the H7's there is a cut out on the housing for them.

    If the above is correct..

Park the car in front of a wall or garage.. View the beam.. and on the top of the headlight you will see a white plastic HEX (alley key) bolt... turn this clockwise and the beam should adjust down.. keep adjusting till it is just above the passenger side beam level..

You should not have to do the manual adjustment though when changing the bulbs..

I checked again and both headlights were sat correctly and everything seemed pretty kosher. I then tweaked around with those hex bolts and it's sorted now. Rare knowledge regarding headlights from Ricky! Thanking you!
I have noticed though, when I've had the lights out, that one of them has quite a thick build up of dirt on the inside of the casing which looks a bit nasty when up close. Is there an easy was of getting inside the casing so that I can wipe off the dirt?
