    Started this week. VAGCOM shows the following:

    Control Module Part Number: 4B0 959 655 M
    Component and/or Version: Airbag 8.4E 3003
    Software Coding: 0001106
    Work Shop Code: WSC 02325
    1 Fault Found:
    01228 - Airbag Cut-Off Switch for Passenger Side (E224)
    010 - Open or Short to Plus - Intermittent

    2002 A6 2.5TDi Q

    Is it talking about the key lock in the glove compartment ?

    Well I took the glove compartment off and tried to get the light to come on by wiggling wires and remaking the two connections behind there but couldn't. Took the airbag keyswitch out, stripped it down and cleaned it. Put it all back together and 200 miles later it hasn't happened since. Dodgy connector sorted

    Hi

    Guys I have got same problem here on my VW PASSAT 2012 - What I wanted to know is how to I got about changing this or what is the best approach ?

    I have tried turning it off and on position and cleared the codes using Foxwell device but the error keeps coming back

    Your help is much appreciated
