    Hi All,

Pretty much as the title suggests, has anyone ever had a problem of the key being stuck? Just taken a call from my Wife to tell me this. Car starts and drives fine, just can't remove the key once you turn the ignition off. We only have one key so we really don't want to break it in any way. Recovery service are on their way. Any thoughts anyone?

    Cheers,

    Jay

Well, it appears that it's due to a "sticky button" on the gear lever itself. That has a relese mechanism and unless it is fully out when in PARK it will not allow the key to be withdrawn. All makes sense really, but something to bear in mind if it happens to anyone else.

    Cheers All.

I assume this an auto. I think it is now a common feature on them.
