There is a new company just off junc 35 of the M1 called Independant Cars

I am just trying them out.

It appears that it is run by some ex Gilders peeps

They sell mostly German stuff and do servicing, mots etc

I have just sold my A3 1.6 Se and a A4 avant 2.0 Tdi Se both of which were 05 reg.
From new both were serviced at main dealers but in March when both came out of warranty and needed MOT I took both cars to IVC in Leeds. Great service and total cost for both appox £500. This was for MOT, oil change, filters replaced, brake fluid replaced and general inspection.
Great value when main dealers quoted appox £700 plus and a further £86 per car to replace brake fluid.
This was my first experience of IVC and the only thing that I can quibble about was,,,,,,, unlike the main dealers the car did not get its usual service clean and wash but for the money I saved I could afford to get it valeted.

A bit further afield but Audi Stafford do services for £79 and long life services for £175.

There's Audi Dave just out of South Yorkshire at Clowne and Volks Tec at Dronfield - both very good

I phoned Audi Dave twice in a week asking for a quote for a service and cam belt change, he told me he would phone back with the price and failed to do so on both occasions............I left it there as I decided it probably says a lot about his service.

i also tried audi dave,he said he would get price of parts but never got back to me even after numerous calls so i left it at that as well.
will never try them again

I realise it's been a while since your last post, but how did you get on with AVG in Doncaster? Any good?

Just had my A3 in a local garage for and it's come out with the same problem it went in with. Reckon its time a specialist had a look, but not the dealers.
