    Default air bag fault – 17-02-2008,07:18 PM
    i have a air bag fault light come on my car i have recently changed the cd player to a alpine head unit would this have something to do with this warning light appearing

    Hi I would not think so, you need to get a fault code read

    If you disconnected the passenger air bag warning light getting to the radio unit and....tested your new radio installation before putting everything back together (ie: reconnecting the passenger air bag warning light) - the answer is "Yes".

    Take it to a dealer so that they can do a reset. They may not charge you - mine didn't!!

    Yes, I know by experience!!

    I agree with Frelon.

    It is possible to do the radio swap without disconnecting the airbag wire. See my how to guide.
